HAVE YOU EVER RENTED A STEAM CARPET CLEANER FOR AREA RUGS?

I have dual vast rugs, 9 X 11. One Belgian nap about 40 years old, a single dhurrie about twenty years old. Light blue as well as green. It’s been multiform years given a cleaning, they have been only dry & etc. The runner place here charges some-more than 0 any to purify them, I’m meditative about receiving them upon a porch as well as regulating a rented runner cleaner, afterwards draping them over a blockade to dry. Please answer If we have experience!

Steam cleaning is ok if you go really easy on the cleaning solution. Residue from the cleaning solution will cause the rug to attract more dirt, and might damage the fibers if it is of the oxyclean type.
